Welcome to Music in Small Spaces!
We exist to educate our public about chamber music by presenting the crème de la crème of Greater Portland’s professional musicians. Our concerts are presented in small spaces to entice our patrons into the exploration of music, live performance, comments by the musicians and the intimacy of a small audience.

This Festive Mothers Day concert is Free to the public at the Tigard Library Community Room, 2:30 p.m., Sunday May 12th (Directions).
Musical Adventure # 2 is presented by the Museaux Trio (Viola, Harp and Flute). Performer Biographies. Composers presented will be Piazzolla, Larsen, Foote, Jan Bach and Bondon. Expect lyrical themes, rhythms from South America and a break out viola solo! This concert is Free to the public at the Tigard Library Community Room, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19th (Directions).
Saturday, July 20th could be the highlight of your musical listening year. We present Al-Andalus, Portland’s premier Flamenco Ensemble. These musicians play to packed houses — discover why with more about the music, including performer biographies. Experience “Arab Roots of Flamenco” in story, song and dance. You will come away breathless! This concert is presented at the Beaverton Library Auditorium on the lower level as part of the Beaverton International Festival. Get tickets. If you love to explore World Music, join us to discover the Venerable Showers of Beauty Gamelan Ensemble. This orchestra of traditional Javanese instruments and singers will introduce a variety of musical styles and rhythms, including poetic songs, meditative pieces and stirring battle music.
